You say you feel alone -
refer to chapter six.
It discusses one’s affection drive,
self-esteem, peer pressure and cliques.
Now, you mentioned voices
could you tell me more about them?
Ah. I see…
I think we’ll ascribe it to past trauma.
But don’t worry:
There was a paper written on this
in year that, by so and so.
I assure you you’re in good hands
Drink this three times a day,
only with meals, starting tomorrow.
I’ll need to see you twice a week
unless it falls on Fridays
(that’s my appointment with Mr. Green;
even I need a break).
If you come by tomorrow,
we can touch on your fear and emotional flaws.
And, yes you’re special
but, Darling, aren’t we all?

You forgot to add, “You can come back again, only if you have Health Insurance”!

Hi,
Fascinating. Enough to drive one mad, eh Darling?
I think I’ve been entered in some blacklist or … .
Best wishes,
Jan

this didn’t pop up in my rss feed to your blog! :’(
mmmmmmmmmmmmm; i’ve seen a psyc just like this, makes me angry

honestly they are really nothing but annoying & the fact they never /really/ care puts me off
hope you’re well
this poem ignited some feelings inside of me which i’d supressed for a while, thankyou xo

satansez: lol, Yeah exactly. Thanks for the visit.
Jan: It’s strange that I’m not popping up in people’s feeds anymore… And yeah. Often the *ahem* cure is the instigator *grins*
Chloe: Hm, I hope that inciting suppressed feelings is a good thing, lol.
Psychologists that don’t care about the people they work with and just ascribe problems to them (that they usually don’t even have) annoy me. Immensely. Hence the post
I’m well, hope you are.

Does this perhaps have any connection with our conversation regarding doctors? That they believe it’s some kind of a consolation to give one’s disease a name? Regardless, I love the apathy – the terse tone is amazing. To me this is highly satirical – I hope that was one of the intentions. It really appealed to my admittedly twisted humour, and the subtle(…or not, depends…) sarcasm was particularily powerful in conveying your opinion and thoughts. Brilliant – loved it

fessuscorpus: lol, Actually I wrote this piece months ago before our discussion… I think that somehow, perhaps, the poem contributed to the discussion.
I thought you might (dark humour and all, lol).
Ah yes, it was marinated in sarcasm then promptly fried in satire (except that I can’t cook…). Glad you liked it
